Department of the Navy Laboratories to be recognized at the 2017 Federal Laboratory Consortium Awards Dinner

The Department of the Navy (DON) laboratories perform exciting research, create novel materials and technologies and produce some of the finest innovations in science and technology. Using the technology transfer process, non-Navy partners such as private industry, academia, and state and local governments have the opportunity to work together with the Navy laboratory on mutually beneficial research to further develop these innovative technologies. Technology transfer legislation also promotes the licensing of patented technologies developed at the DON laboratories for commercial applications.
